She’s back! Philomena Cunk returning soon – here’s everything we know about Cunk on Life
2024 wouldn’t be complete without a dash of Diane Morgan
Diane Morgan’s hilarious mockumentary series, helmed by her fictional character Philomena Cunk, is set to return to UK screens in the near future with Cunk on Life.
In years gone by, Philomena Cunk has tackled everything from World War II to the emergence of social media in previous editions like Cunk on Christmas, Cunk on Shakespeare, Cunk on Britain, Cunk & Other Humans on 2019, and Cunk on Earth.
With the announcement of Cunk on Life, TikTok creators are about to get a whole new load of viral sounds to work with. Brain rot is about to get a whole lot worse. Here’s what we know.
When is Philomena Cunk coming back?

As we’ve come to expect from the Cunk projects, Cunk on Life will explore some of the world’s biggest questions in a hilarious – and not-so-accurate – way, with Philomena pondering the question “What’s the point of it all?”
The official synopsis explains: “This one off special will see Philomena tackle some of the most complex concepts to have ever been discovered, including Quantum Physics, Existentialism, Nihilism, Hedonism – and at least four other isms – as well as exploring subjects from the big bang to biology, morals to meditation and art to artificial intelligence.

Twitter is seated and ready
Longtime viewers of the hit satire have flocked to Twitter as many confessed to the news getting them through weeks of Christmas shopping, in-law visits, and the eventual food coma brought on my Xmas dinner.
One person said: “Philomena Cunk is genuinely one of the best things this island has ever produced.”
“We have literally never needed her more,” another wrote.
Someone else screamed: “CUNK ON LIFE is my favourite title of any TV show ever made and I’ve never seen an episode.”
