Here’s how to see your TikTok Wrapped 2024 and cry at how long you spent on the app

You’ll wish you never looked

It’s that time of year again. Spotify Wrapped is almost here and everyone is eagerly waiting to see which artists they listened to most.

Since the feature launched, other social media sites have jumped on the bandwagon too, but is there a TikTok version?

Well, the video site did actually launch its own Wrapped once in 2022, but it was a one-off and the feature sadly never returned.

Don’t worry though, there is still a way to see your TikTok Wrapped 2024 using a third-party site. Here’s everything you need to know.

Here’s how to see your TikTok Wrapped 2024

In 2023, a mystery internet user called John Doe made a site called Wrapped For TikTok that tells you loads of stats about your account.

You can find out all kinds of things from the number of videos you watched this year to the total watch time and average session length.

To do it, you have to download your data from TikTok first and then upload the file to the TikTok Wrapped site. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Open TikTok and go to your profile
  2. Click on the three lines in the top right corner
  3. Select ‘Settings and privacy’
  4. Tap ‘Account’
  5. Press ‘Download your data’
  6. Click ‘Select file format’
  7. Choose ‘JSON’ and then ‘Done’
  8. Press ‘Request Data’

Once you’ve downloaded your date, go to the Wrapped for TikTok website and click ‘Start now’. Then, select ‘I have my TikTok file’.

Upload the data file and wait for the site to reveal all of your TikTok Wrapped stats. You can then save and share your Wrapped reel.

Erm, is it actually safe to do?!

The thought of uploading all your data to a third-party site seems a bit scary, but the website assures users it is totally safe.

“Your TikTok data is only used in your browser and never uploaded to any server. We will not store or process your data on our server in any way,” it says.
