The Wicked Letterboxd reviews are in and they might be the most disturbing yet

Wicked has sent the world into a green-induced feeding frenzy and there’s no better proof than the totally unhinged reviews on the Letterboxd platform.

The chaos of Wicked has barely dissipated, and yet, viewers are already gearing up for Wicked Part Two by theorising who will play Dorothy, the other songs that might be featured, and if we’ll get any more shocking cameos. Though the decision to split the iconic stage musical was criticised by some viewers, director Jon Chu earlier confirmed the reason in a Twitter post.

“As we prepared this production over the last year, it became increasingly clear that it would be impossible to wrestle the story of Wicked into a single film without doing some real damage to it,” he said, further noting how slimming down the project would have meant removing vital character development.
