Try this simple Bird Test and find out if your relationship is destined to succeed or fail

Does your partner actually care about you?!

A simple test is circling TikTok that’s supposed to show whether your relationship is going to work out.

It’s called the Bird Test, and all you have to do is pretend you saw a bird when you’re outside with your partner. Yes, that’s it.

While you’re walking through the park one day, say something like “Wow, look at that pretty bird” and see how they react.

The test reveals whether they are a narcissist, so you can find out if they actually care about you – or only about themself.

bird test theory = if u point out something thats pretty mundane but interesting to u (like a bird) and ur partner shows interest.. they slay 🐦‍⬛❤️

If they ignore your comment and carry on walking, they fail the test and it’s not looking good for your future.

However, if they ask you about the bird and want to know more, they pass and your relationship is destined to succeed.

Ultimately, it’s all about whether your boyfriend or girlfriend actually shows an interest in the things that make you happy.

If they show no interest in something you say, even if it’s as boring and dull as a bird, that’s a bad sign.

The test is based on a theory by the Gottman Institute, which was started by two scientists who have done lots of research into relationships.

They call these little comments, like pointing out a bird on the street, “connection bids”.

“Bids for connection are when one partner reaches out to the other person for either interest or a conversation or expressing a need,” Dr Gottman told CNN.

These bids are really important in relationships as they are what drive that emotional connection with each other.

In Psychology Today, psychologist Brian Collison says this “mutual attentiveness and responsiveness are essential for relationship satisfaction”.

It’s normal to have your own interests, but listening to your partner and responding to what they say is super important too.

Try it and see if your partner passes the test.
