Erm, apparently Sabrina had another connection on Love Is Blind UK that wasn’t televised?

Irish stunner Sabrina Egerton made her debut along with many other singles looking for love on the first season of Love Is Blind UK last week, and was the first of the show to become engaged. She seemed to have a pretty straight forward love story with fellow contestant Steven, but it seems that the producers may have purposefully cut some secret connections along the way.

Behind the scenes, Sabrina revealed to The Irish Sun that “Steven from day two was my number one, but I did have another connection which you don’t see at all.” Now I’m dying to know who.

She continued: “And right up until the day that me and Steven decided that we would be the only connection, I was also speaking to that person and they had to come in to ask me to be their connection.

“And I had to let them down and say, actually, I’ve chosen Steven. There’s so much you don’t see. There’s so many other beautiful moments and dates.” Looks like there’s a lot the producers choose to take out of the final cut.

Sabrina also emphasised just how intense it can be in the pods, telling viewers that “everything is amplified.” I can’t even imagine just talking to potential love interests all day every day like that.

She opened up about how the TV show made their romance look so quick but how it wasn’t actually the case: “Like Steven giving me his grandfather’s ring and us like playing games and hangman. And it was like, ‘You’re the one’. And there’s so much – you have to remember it’s TV.

“And it’s magic TV to make it look a certain way. But it wasn’t as quick as it was on screen.”

We will probably never find out who the other mystery connection was on the show, but we can sure still root for Steven and Sabrina when the next four episodes of Love Is Blind UK are released on Wednesday 14th of August.
