Love Island 2024 voting figures revealed – and it was a very close win for Mimii and Josh

The voting figures from the Love Island 2024 final last night have been revealed, and they show it was a marginal win for Mimii and Josh. After a long eight weeks in the villa, OG Mimii and bombshell Josh were crowned winners of the show.

For a long time, it was looking as though OG couple Nicole and Ciaran may take the crown and the £50k prize fund, but in the end they were beaten by Mimii and Josh. In third was Matilda and Sean, followed by Jess and Ayo in fourth. The day before the final, Jessy and Joey were dumped, ending in fifth place.

Mimii and Josh had a bit of a journey in the villa together. Mimii was there from the start, and had a pretty strong connection with Ayo initially. However, he recoupled with Jess during Casa Amor, leaving Mimii single. It wasn’t long before Josh entered the villa to sweep her off her feet, but if felt like Mimii and Josh had to convinced their fellow Islanders that their feelings were true, and that she wasn’t still after Ayo.

But, clearly they won the public over as they have been crowned our favourite couple! Here’s how the Love Island 2024 voting figures looked.

• Mimii and Josh – 41 per cent

• Nicole and Ciaran – 35 per cent

• Matilda and Sean – 14 per cent

• Jess and Ayo – 10 per cent

In 2023, Jess and Sammy won with the lowest ever victory in Love Island history with just 34.57 per cent of the vote. The biggest landslide was Dani and Jack in 2018, who had nearly 80 per cent of the overall vote.
