‘Tone deaf’: Influencer called out for posting her outfit inspiration for visiting Auschwitz

‘This is one of the most spiritually bankrupt things I’ve seen in a LONG time’

An influencer has been called out for posting her outfit inspiration for visiting Auschwitz on Instagram.

Former Bachelor contestant Anna Redman posted a screenshot of her notes app where she planned her outfits for an upcoming trip to Poland.

But the outfits included what she was going to wear to visit Auschwitz where over 1.1 million people were murdered during the Holocaust.

The story included a small photo of her posing in a black dress and white sandals with the caption “the best packing hack. Is somebody going to match my freak?”

The outfit, which included a bag slung over her right shoulder, suggested she planned to visit Auschwitz in the morning following a day in Krakow.

The influencer has since been called out for being “tone deaf” and labelled “spiritually bankrupt”. She has now deleted the story but comments on her other posts are flooded with people asking her to apologise.

“You know what’s embarrassing? How tone deaf you are to post an Auschwitz outfit on your stories,” one person said.

Another added: “This is tone deaf as hell and implies she’s going to be taking ‘aesthetic’ photos at a death camp where over one million people were murdered. Girl. Goodbye. This is fucked up.”

Someone else noted that the outfit was also “inappropriate” to wear at Auschwitz: “Also that’s a crazy inappropriate outfit to wear at Auschwitz. You’re at a concentration camp, not brunch in NY.”

Another person replied: “Yeah it’s about basic respect. The outfit below is better at least because it’s longer. You don’t need to look cute at Auschwitz!!”, referencing an outfit that featured a long skirt and T-shirt.

Before posting the packing list and outfit inspiration she wrote on her story: “Poland here we come” alongside a poll asking people to guess whether her bag would be over or under the baggage weight limit.
