Omg, Love Island All Stars is in ‘chaos’ because the cast keep ‘demanding’ more money

They’ve already turned down a 433 per cent pay rise

Ok so, Love Island All Stars is officially launching on ITV1 and ITV on 15th January but the series has reportedly been sent into absolute chaos because members of the cast keep “demanding” more money before they agree to sign their contracts.

The show will replace winter Love Island and feature reality stars who’ve previously taken part in other seasons of the series. But, although the returning reality stars have been offered a significant pay increase since their first time on Love Island, they’re still not settling for the amount that’s been offered, The Sun reports.

The Sun claimed Love Island All Star contestants have been offered £2k a week to appear on the show, which works out as 433 per cent more than their original salary to appear on Love Island, when they were paid only £375 a week for filming.

“[The cast] are pushing ITV for more cash because they’re saying £2,000 a week isn’t enough,” a source said. “Many of the Islanders rely on their social media deals to make cash and by going into the villa, their revenue source will be down.

“The All Stars cast are clubbing together to try and put the pressure on but as far as ITV are concerned, the pay deal on the table is good and fair,” they added.

Amid the pay dispute, there are a few Islanders who are believed to be taking part, as well as some more rumoured Islanders from Love Islands gone by. Megan Barton-Hanson and Georgia Steel are believed to be taking part, and 2017 winner Kem Cetinay has also been rumoured. Here’s a full list of the names in talks.

A few Islanders have also said they’ve been approached for Love Island: All Stars, but turned it down. Bosses asked Maura Higgins to take part, but she is in a relationship and said she “doesn’t want to go back in time”. And, despite going back on the show before, both Adam Collard and Kady McDermott have reportedly rejected the chance at a third time lucky.
