Janelle claims Adam still hasn’t apologised to her since leaving MAFS Australia
‘It’s hard to forgive someone when they don’t take accountability’
Married at First Sight Australia bride Janelle Han has claimed her on screen husband Adam Seed has not properly apologised to her since they left the experiment.
Janelle and Adam were matched together on season 10 of MAFS Australia and everything was going extremely well to begin with until Adam cheated on her with bride, Claire.
The kiss was kept a secret between Claire and Adam for weeks until Claire admitted the truth to her on screen husband Jesse and the fall out began.
The entire scandal ended in both couples leaving the experiment, with Adam and Janelle being the first to call time on their relationship.
Speaking to Yahoo, Janelle revealed a heated exchanged between her and Adam that didn’t make it on the MAFS Australia reunion episode where Adam refused to apologise for what he put her through.
“There was definitely a moment at the reunion where Adam tried to apologised to me” she began, continuing: “On paper, it was a good apology, but I didn’t want to forgive someone if they weren’t apologetic for the right thing.”
“So when I tried to clarify his apology, it just came back with the same defensiveness and a whole new layer of excuses.”
Janelle admitted she wants to forgive Adam, “but it’s hard to forgive someone when they don’t take accountability.”
The former bride said she “wasn’t surprised” their spat didn’t air as “nothing new had happened”. She said: “Adam didn’t have any new revelations and accountability, I wasn’t going to forgive him, so the story was done.”
