One year on, here’s what the Married at First Sight Australia season nine cast are up to now
Jack is expecting his first child!
It’s been a year since season nine of Married at First Sight Australia graced our TV screens and even though everyone is obsessed with the season 10 cast, the former brides and grooms have been up to a whole lot.
While there aren’t any couples who are still together, the individuals have all been doing pretty well for themselves from kick starting their boxing careers to finding love elsewhere. So, here’s what the MAFS Australia season nine cast have been up to since their appearances on the experiment last year.
Olivia Frazer
Olivia Frazer is one of the many breakout stars from MAFS Australia season nine. She was paired with Jackson Lonie during the experiment, but things didn’t work and she went on to date British filmmaker William Mitchell but they have since broken up.
Olivia has become one of the richest cast members to go on MAFS Australia following her OnlyFans success. It has been reported Olivia made $500,000 in four months from her OnlyFans and had 7,000 subscribers.
She also has a whole new look and has been rocking a short brunette bob and in February was on the cover of MAXIM Australia.
Anthony Cincotta
Anthony’s MAFS Australia journey was shared with Selin but they were eventually dubbed one of the worst matched couples. After leaving the experiment, Anthony began a new relationship with a woman named Kate, who helped him after the show.
“You live in the bubble and it’s a really overwhelming experience, and when you’re out you’re out,” Anthony said, talking about Kate.
“She reached out to me and she was there for me and she helped me make sense of a lot of things and one thing led to another and here we are, really happy and very much together.”

In December 2022, Anthony announced he was expecting his first child with Kate. He also has his own radio show called Not so Hellfire on Bondi Radio.
Al Perkins
Al stayed faithful to reality TV and after being unlucky at love on MAFS Australia season nine, he went on to appear on Love Island Australia. He entered the show as a bombshell and came in fifth place with Jessica Losurdo, but they are no longer together.
During his exit interview, Al said: “Right now, at the moment, me and Jess are just friends. But we speak almost every second day.
“After we left the villa, we continued for a little bit and I met her mum. But then we just thought we’d be better off as friends.”
Cody Bromley
Cody was matched with Selina Chhaur on MAFS Australia but they went their separate ways in the season finale and despite reuniting, Selina ended up ghosting Cody. Yikes!
Since then, Cody launched his own business called Cody’s Coaching, helping people “embark on a successful well-being journey”.
Ella May Ding
Ella was a favourite amongst viewers on MAFS Australia and has had non-stop opportunities from huge podcast deals to British reality TV shows.
She and her co-star Domenica Calarco launched their own podcast Sit With Us, she then starred on Made In Chelsea and is developing her own health and wellness app. The grind never stops!
Ella recently went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Guy, and they look like such a power couple.
Domenica Calarco
Following her whirlwind romance on MAFS Australia season nine, Domenica has capitalised on her success and is now the co-host of a super successful podcast and a web series on Nine Network Australia.
After the experiment, Domenica became one of the most sought after Australian reality TV stars and is now currently starring on I’m A Celebrity. She also collaborated with Showpo, an Australian fashion retailer.
Jack Millar
Jack has been thriving ever since he left the MAFS Australia experiment and is now in a relationship with Love Island Australia cast member Courtney Stubbs.
Jack and Courtney announced on Mother’s Day in Australia that they were expecting their first child together. “Overjoyed to share our magical secret with you 👼🏼✨”, Courtney wrote in a sweet Instagram post.
Jack returned to his day job after the experiment ended and still works in the corporate finance sector in Sydney. He regularly shares content on his social media pages, with updates on his day-to-day life.
Kate Laidlaw
Since leaving the experiment, Kate has become an OnlyFans superstar with her twin sister and they have been thriving on the website.
She recently turned 40 years old and opened up to co-star Domenica Calarco that her outlook on life has changed completely.
“Do you know what the funny thing is, this time last year the most important thing for me was having a partner, possibly having kids, and a year later, I actually don’t care anymore,” she admitted.
Samantha Moitzi
Samantha left the experiment with her head held high after her relationship with Al Perkins didn’t work out. She has since got into a new relationship but a lot of their relationship has been kept private.
“We met about three years ago and I saw him and was like, ‘He’s so hot’… So I lingered like a bad smell until he took me home,” she admitted. Iconic from her to be honest.
Daniel Holmes
Daniel faced a lot of controversy while on the show after he decided to pursue a relationship with Carolina Santos, despite her not being his wife.
The pair left the experiment together but it was bittersweet to say the least and at the end of last year they confirmed they had broken up.
“I think it’s been obvious for a while we have gone our separate ways,” he wrote on Instagram. “There’s no right way to deal with these situations. There’s a huge pressure to just hold off going public for as long as possible because you know all the hate that’s going to come.”
Daniel has since turned his fitness career into boxing.
Carolina Santos
After he split from Daniel, Carolina has revealed she wants to make a return to Married at First Sight Australia. Speaking to Yahoo, she said she would “one hundred per cent” go back on the show if she was able to.
Carolina has since admitted she went on the show for “exposure” for her online designer handbag business and is still running her business alongside being an influencer.
She has recently been spotted getting cosy with season 10 cast members, Jesse Burford and Duncan James but it all seems to just be friendly.
Matt Ridley
Matt was matched with Kate Laidlaw on the experiment but they didn’t manage to connect on any sort of level. He is now in a new relationship with a woman who he says has made “life amazing” since being together.
Matt still stays in touch with his MAFS co-stars and has a close friendship with frooms Cody, Al and Mitch. He has also switched up his look and now has veneers.
“Words cannot describe how amazed I am with this smile transformation,” he wrote talking about his new set of teeth.
Holly Greenstein
Holly may not have found love on MAFS Australia but she definitely has now. Since her new relationship, Holly has been sharing the cutest photos of her and her new man on Intstagram.
Explaining how they met, she said: “I had met him earlier. And then I just actually bumped into him on the street. And then he kept emailing me and pursuing me and yes, I caved.”
Selina Chhaur
Selina has ditched her blonde locks and is now rocking a stunning brunette hairstyle as well as her blue contacts and has gone back to her natural eye colour.
She recently made the move to Sydney and although she didn’t find her soulmate on the show she found “the greatest love of all which is self-love”.
Brent Vitiello
Everyone still remembers Brent from his savage final vows moment on MAFS Australia season nine.
After the show, rumours began to spread about a romance between Brent and Ella Ding but this couldn’t be further from the truth as he is in a relationship with model Taylor Davey. He occasionally shares photos of her on his Instagram but they seem to be stronger than ever.
Brent has been travelling the world and visiting all sorts of places and recently went on a trip to the USA with best mate Al Perkins.
Mitch Eynaud
Since the experiment, Mitch has been focusing on his boxing career as well as travelling around Australia with his pals.
Tamara Djordjevic
Since leaving the experiment, Tamara has launched her own YouTube channel and has been seemingly living her best life.
From sharing stunning snaps on her Instagram to going to festivals with her friends, Tamara is truly slaying.
Selin Mengu
Selin moved back in with her family and son after the experiment and is leaving the show well and truly in the past.
“The past is like using a rear-view mirror. It’s good to glance back and see how far you’ve come but if you stare too long you’ll miss what’s right in front of you,” she wrote on Instagram.
Alongside not thinking about her MAFS experience, Selin has been enjoying lavish nights out and time with her family.
Dion Giannarelli
Dion is now in a brand new relationship with Nikki Walton after his romance with Carolina didn’t work out on the show.
He has also announced his plans to build a huge $480 million luxury hotel on the Gold Coast. The real estate mogul recently signed a deal with the Ritz-Carlton to develop a 150-room resort at Mariner’s Cove.
Jackson Lonie
After a 10 month relationship with Olivia Frazer, the pair broke up in August 2022. Since leaving the show, Jackson launched his own OnlyFans account and similarly to his co-stars, has entered the world of boxing.
