A 3.7 magnitude earthquake has been reported off the Norfolk coast
It was felt by those in surrounding areas
An earthquake has been reported to have occurred off the Norfolk coast.
Around 7.14 am yesterday morning a 3.7 magnitude tremor was felt in the North Sea just off Yarmouth.
It has also be said that a tremor has been felt by those in their homes in Sea Palling, Happisburgh and Mundlesley.
The British Geological Society (BGS) said earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10km meaning it is classed as shallow, noting that shallow earthquakes are often more strongly felt than deeper ones.
