The TabOriel Ball, the only white-tie Commemoration Ball next year has sold out in 20 minutes.
Students were forced to deal with Varsity-level website drama, with various spinning logos, green ticks and refreshrefreshrefresh moments.
The team have since apologised via their Facebook page, stating “The website’s having a spot of trouble coping with this much traffic – but sit tight! We’ll let you know as soon as it’s fixed, and are working on it as fast as possible.”
Many students have also been left in limbo, entering their card details but not yet receiving email conformation of their purchase.
An LMH 3rd Year was charged £620 after multiple attempts at purchasing non-dining tickets.
The Oriel Ball committee have since asked anyone experiencing issues to contact them via email.
