Old Man Bridge reveals heroic Mayday plans

Don’t make plans for Mayday until you’ve read this.

On a recent night out, Old Man Bridge exclusively revealed his Mayday plans to the Tab team.

The clubbing legend hinted that he would be visiting each of Oxford’s club nights in turn and then attending the performance of the choir at 6am, before returning to Clems to party the rest of the morning away.

Drinking in the midst of legends

He was reluctant to reveal what exactly he would be doing come 6am, offering only a tantalising clue: ‘All I will say is that I will be waterborne’…

After some expert interrogation from the Tab team, Old Man Bridge expanded upon his clue, explaining that he will be underneath Magdalen bridge checking the depth of the water for potential bridge-jumpers.

Old Man Bridge… even more aptly named than we thought.

‘The optimum depth is around five metres, but anything between five and nine will be acceptable.’
