About half of the fast food chain’s 900 restaurants across the country, including 3 in Nottingham, have been hit with food shortages due to delivery problems and a number across Nottinghamshire are still closed today.

The crisis arrises as the fried chicken chain restaurant switched its delivery contract to DHL, which has blamed "operational issues" for the supply disruption. Only three restaurants in the county remain open according to the latest updates.

A plea goes out from politicians and police to ask chicken lovers to "stop calling". Well thats a load of feathers, am i right? They say that not having access to KFC is "not an emergency", reports the Mirror.
