Student stabbed in Broadgate Park halls

A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A student was stabbed Sunday night during an incident occuring in Nottingham's Broadgate Park accommodation on Turnpike Lane.

Police forces were called to the accommodation halls in Beeston, at around 5.55pm on Sunday, where a 22-year-old student had suffered a stab wound. The victim is assumed to have lived in the same residence as his attacker.

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening and non-life alltering.

The perpetrator, a 20-year-old student living in Redwoods Court in Broadgate, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
