Prince Harry is in Nottingham

He arrived this morning

Prince Harry is in Nottingham today for his fifth visit in three years.

Crowds were gathered this morning for the eagerly anticipated arrival of HRH who is visiting various places on his most recent trip to Nottingham.

The Prince’s first stop was the Nottinghamshire Police’s new building, Byron House, on Maid Marian Way. He officially opened the building this afternoon and spent time finding out more about the work community protection officers are doing with the police.

As a regular visitor to Nottingham, Prince Harry will also be stopping in on the Full Effect project in St Anns which was set up after his first visit in 2013. This organisation aims to reduce youth violence and Prince Harry was met with glowing praise from Nottingham locals at its launch three years ago.

Nottingham’s National Ice Centre is also a scheduled stop on the tour, where he will be learning about the sports apprenticeships that they run.

He’s unlikely to hang around for long, so if you want to catch a glimpse of royalty, join the hoards of fans that can be spotted across town.
