There is now an Owen’s Park Snapchat filter

You can now send nudes ft. the Tower

In a move that can be described only as Fallowfield’s recognition on the world stage, as of today, Owen’s Park has its very own Snapchat Geofilter.

Snapchat now allows all users to create and submit their own Geofilters online, with the best and most appropriate going live on the app.

Tower squared

This Owen’s Park filter was submitted by a third year geology student and went live today.

No freakin’ way

The Geofilter consists of a cartoon drawing of the Tower, with a banner reading “Owen’s Park”.

This means that not only can you now pose for a selfie in the library with the University logo in the foreground, but you’ll be able to take all kinds of snaps around halls posing with the beautiful architecture of the Tower.

The news, dubbed as an early present from the Easter Bunny, has sent Manchester students into states of overexcitement.

Seeing double

Third year Emma told The Tab: “I cannot wait to get back after Easter. Doing my dissertation in the cluster will be endless fun now I can show everyone what I’m doing, and where I am.”

Second year Will said: “Get out!”
