Take Me Out comes to nowt
Law student bags a date – and it turns out they both live on the same road in Leeds. But what’s life like after Fernando’s? We caught up with Leanne from Take Me Out to find out.
They lived on the same street. It looked like a match made in heaven.
And after a dazzling date on the Isle of Fernando’s, Headingley’s answer to Romeo and Juliet appeared all set for the perfect romance.

But the Leeds lovers from this year’s first episode of Take Me Out have parted ways, the Tab can exclusively reveal.
Second year Law student Leanne Cecillé was picked by Adam Hancox from Leeds when it was discovered that they both lived on the same street in Headingley.
What a coincidence: “I’m from Leeds too”
The Cardigan road couple then jetted off to the Isle of Fernandos where they seemed to hit it off.
However, back in the harsher climate of Leeds the relationship went cold and they are now no longer together.
Leanne said: “It was filmed in November and we just lost contact really”

But it sounds like her Take Me Out experience was still positive.
She told The Tab: “It was the best two weeks of my life, full of fun, banter and I made new friends for life. I keep in touch with a lot of the girls and we’ve all become really good friends and always go out together. Paddy is so funny in real life!”

But fame comes at a price – Leanne is frequently recognised around Leeds following her TV appearance.
She said: “I’ve had people come up to me in Harvey Nichols wanting pictures and also when I’m out down Call Lane people have asked for photos with me.”
