Lancaster University delays the release of summer exam timetables

The one-week delay is due to ‘technical difficulties’

Lancaster University has announced a delay to the release of the summer exam timetable for students.

The summer exam timetable was originally going to be available to students from Friday 24th February, but this has now been delayed to Friday 3rd March.

The postponement is reportedly due to “technical difficulties” outside of the university’s control.

In an update provided by the University Academic Dean, Professor Alisdair Gillespie apologised for any disruption this will cause students, stating: “Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties outside of our control, we need to postpone the release of the timetable for one week.”

They continued: “We know exams can be a stressful time, and so it’s critical we provide an accurate timetable that offers you certainty about where you need to be and when. For that reason, it’s important that we take the time to resolve these technical challenges.”

Students should expect a further message when the timetable has been released.
