Glasgow’s first Dachshund cafe is opening this summer
All your furry four legged dreams are coming true
Dates and venue have now been confirmed for the long awaited arrival of the touring Dachshund cafe.
Organiser Anushka Fernando has revealed the event will take place Sunday July 15th in Pie & Brew, Bath Street.
The company is a touring pop up especially for Dachshunds and their owners – although all dog lovers and fans are welcome to attend!
The cafe offers a delicious menu of treats with a canine twist, serving a range of DOGnuts, Jammy DOGners and PUPiccinos.
Additionally, visitors and their precious pooches will have the chance to make friends and mingle with likeminded Dachshund die hards.
Having already gathered a wide following in places like Surrey and Nottingham, this summer will mark the Dachshund cafe's first visit to Scotland.
The organisers have also run hugely popular Pug Cafe events, the most recent of which hosted over 250 pugs.
Anushka commented: "Our Pug Cafe events have been hugely popular within the pug community and now we are spreading the joy to sausage dogs! We expect this event to be just as popular and cannot wait to welcome the Dachshunds of Scotland to the Dachshund Cafe."
Since the Edinburgh legacy of Greyfriar's Bobby, we Scots have loved our pups so it's no surprise Glasgow is already buzzing about this upcoming event.
Because of the huge popularity of previous cafes and limited space, visitors will have to book ahead to attend the cafe.
Bookings will go live on Monday June 11th at 9am, and you can book a place for you and your furry friend via two secret email addresses which will be released on Facebook.com/dachshundcafeuk and Pugcafe.com.
