Memorial outside King's for Chinese whistleblower doctor

A tribute to Li Wenliang, the doctor who first alerted the world to coronavirus (now COVID-19), has been erected on King's Parade.

Dr Wenliang died from the disease on February 7th, having warned fellow colleagues of the virus on December 30th 2019.

King's Chapel goes green

King's Chapel was lit up green for Kidney Cancer Awareness Week.

Scammer on the loose in Cambridge

Colleges have warned students about scammers targeting students in the city. The individuals reportedly claim to be "fashion designers" seeking payment for "outstanding car rental fees".

An email sent to Pembroke students by the head porter warned that the scammers will even door-step accommodation.

Green Bop happening at Emma this week

Emma is hosting a green-themed "Jungle Boogie" bop this Saturday (15th Feb) as part of Emma Green Week 2020. Students from all colleges are welcome.

There's an all nature-themed set list and green attire is encouraged.

"Potion bottles" stolen from Harry Potter-themed formal at Homerton

Decorations including mock-potion bottles were reportedly stolen by attendees at a Harry Potter-themed formal at Homerton this week. Scandalous.

Tinchy Stryder at Girton Spring Ball

Tinchy Stryder has been revealed as a headliner at this year's Girton Spring Ball, happening on 13th March.

Ticket sales for the ball, themed "Arthouse", close on February 14th.

Robinson May Ball theme revealed

Robinson has finally revealed the theme for its May Ball, happening on 12th June: "Babylon: Discover the Hanging Gardens".

Definitely an improvement on 2016's "Robinson Crusoe" theme, right?
