Cambridge University Fashion Show announce Jungle as headliner with other exciting acts

Having sold their first wave of early bird tickets within a week, their recent announcement will only surge demand for the show on 13th February

After months of speculation and hype on who would be headlining the biggest philanthropic event in Cambridge – now we have been told.

Although most of you will know Jungle, for those guilty of ignorance, have a listen below.

There will also be performances by Menendez Brothers, Codeko, Escapades and many more covering modern soul to house music.

This promises to be one of the best nights in Cambridge, not only with the vast array of artistic and musical talent but with unlimited alcohol and the after party at Turf.

In a video to promote the event, CUCFS have roped in Jeremy Paxman to play a lead role.

This will inevitably be great fun. But more importantly we must remember why this event is happening in the first place – to aid Cambridge House.

This charity was set up by Cambridge alumni in 1889 to tackle the poverty trap in Southwark by improving resources for better access to education, legal services and other opportunities of self advocacy. Southwark is ranked the 41st most deprived area in England with 33% of children living in poverty.

Last year an impressive £8,000 was raised for Cambridge House. This year, let’s get our act together and see if we can raise even more.
