University of Bristol Darts Varsity is returning this April
One of Bristol’s biggest sporting events is set to take place against Cardiff University on April the 20th
Liam DaviesTickets are now on sale for the yearly University of Bristol varsity match, held in the Anson Rooms on the 20th of April.
This year the Bristol Uni Darts team will compete against students travelling from Cardiff, in an attempt to sign off their season with a big victory. The event is expected to sell out, after becoming a staple event for the University of Bristol students.

Having previously been narrowly defeated by Exeter University, this year the Bristol team will face Cardiff, hoping to regain the crown of being varsity champions.
Ethan Maher, the President of the University of Bristol Darts Club tells The Bristol Tab: “The reaction to the event has been incredible” and he is “really looking forward to beating Cardiff in front of hundreds of people”.
He added that: “It would be great for the Anson Rooms to be at full capacity” and “a lot of time and effort has gone into organising such a big event”.
Throughout the year, the darts team has travelled to various universities to compete against opposition teams. Most recently, they visited the University of Nottingham, competing against their official team and practice for the big day at the Anson Rooms.

The night promises to provide a great atmosphere, with additional competitions for spectators, such as best fancy dress and a closest to bullseye competition. Cardiff University are also expected to bring along a core group of supporters, in the hope that it can spur them on to take the victory away from home.

No matter who emerges the victor, the night looks sure to be an unmissable event for students in Bristol.
