Weed factory discovered on Whiteladies Road

Nothing is sacred

Every Stoke-Bishop fresher has had to make the long walk back up Whiteladies Road from the club probably over a hundred times.

It’s a time for self-reflection at drunken mistakes and misdeeds, a long arduous hike only made easier by the presence of other plastered comrades.

The hill stretches on into eternity, but at least you know that you are surrounded by safe, innocent Clifton – far from the seedy lights of the Triangle clubs.

Now, even this innocence is gone.

A cannabis factory containing 200 plants worth more than £100,000 was found above the White-ladies Road Costa Coffee by Police last week.

Police dressed in protective clothing were seen removing large quantities of the devil’s lettuce from both the 1st and 2nd floors of the building.

A man has been arrested in connection with the factory.

Hopefully this erasure of our beautiful road’s innocence will finally prove to people that drugs. are. not. cool.
