Porn star Johnny Rockard is running for mayor of Bristol

Local porn star Johnny Rockard is running for mayor of Bristol this year.

Although his antics have already got him much attention in the past, John Langley (his real name) still has a thirst for the lime light.

John was forced to resign as the vice chairman of Bristol’s UKIP party last year after a video surfaced that showed him engaging in a sexual act with a consenting adult in Castle Park.

Unbroken and unashamed, he has thrust himself back into politics.

When queried on whether he thought that he had lost some credibility over the issue, he replied: “The very same people who watch these films go into a polling booth and put a cross next to a name.”

“The people who support me believe I am a man of the people.”

John, now 60 years old and living as a bachelor, has had a very colourful past.

After suffering a miserable childhood under strict Irish Catholic parents, John was forced into the army but was kicked out after only 6 weeks.

Forced to money from anywhere he could, he went through 36 different jobs in only 18 months before finding himself homeless on the streets at 18 years old.

In the succeeding years John would fight alcoholism, drug addiction and face prosecution for assaulting a 4 year old child. He has previously said that this final incident had a profound effect on his own life and that the victim’s mother supported him in court.

After living in a gypsy caravan in Cornwall with his pet goose Gertrude, John sought help for the mental health problems that had troubled him since his childhood through attending mental health focus groups.

Incredibly, he got his life back on track and decided to make waves in the world of British politics.
