A weird video of Liam Payne pretending to FaceTime Harry Styles has resurfaced

It’s been a weird old few weeks for Liam Payne. After the entire chaotic saga of him rocking up to Niall Horan’s Argentina show and being branded an attention seeker for all the carry on he partook in whilst watching from a box, more controversy followed. Old random Liam Payne cursed moments started going viral, and his ex-fiancee made a series of accusations against him in a lengthy TikTok. The latest bizarre Liam Payne thing doing the rounds is people remembering the time he edited a fake FaceTime with Harry Styles for… some reason!

In a resurfaced video from 2020, the old FaceTime edit from Liam Payne pretending to call Harry Styles has gone mega viral and has 2.2 million views on Twitter. In the TikTok that Liam posted, it has edited in some clips from a Harry Styles interview and Liam pretends to talk to him. Liam asks him if he’s good and then says “someone’s got the giggles” before hanging up. Obviously, it’s a bit of a joke on Liam’s part but with rumours of strained relationships between the lads over the last few years it is all a bit jarring.

Last week, a video did the rounds of Harry “being so done” with Liam. The original poster claims you can tell “Harry was so f*cking sick of him no wonder he doesn’t like Liam”, Payne constantly barrages over Harry talking when the pair are asked questions. Harry tries speaking four times, but Liam continues to talk over him. About Robbie Savage, of all people. He also says the word geezer a lot – always the first sign someone’s going to be annoying if that’s in their day to day lexicon.

A lot of the replies to the tweet echo what most have been saying for a while about Liam Payne, since the era of his hellish podcast appearances: He’s attention seeking.

Last week, Liam was getting dragged after seeking attention at a Niall Horan gig, where he was doing the Macarena in his box and security actually had to tell him to pack it in. Liam had previously said on TikTok “We’re going to Argentina. One because we have to, and two because we want to. And three because Niall Horan is playing down there. And I think we might just go and say hello. It’s been a while since Niall and I have spoken. We’ve got a lot to talk about. And I would like to square up a couple of things with the boy. No bad vibes or nothing like that, but just we need to talk.”

This video of Liam Payne and Harry Styles is just the latest in the messy drama. It’s always something with Liam, isn’t it?
