Give yourself a medal if you can solve this Olympics optical illusion in less than 52 secs

This should be an Olympic sport

As if sitting watching the Olympics doesn’t make you feel bad and unaccomplished enough, there’s now an Olympic optical illusion that’s just gonna make us all feel dumb too.

So whilst we sit on the sofa eating crisps watching the most talented people in the world compete and criticising them as if we’ve ever done competitive diving in our lives, there’s a brain teaser to keep us entertained too.

Preply, an online French tutor and lesson provider, has created a Paris 2024 brain teaser where you’ve got to find the Olympic torch amidst all the flags competing in this year’s Olympics.

Apparently, if you find it in less than 52 seconds you’ve got a higher-than-average IQ but the record for finding it is 36 seconds so get you if you can beat that.

You’ve got a higher-than-average IQ if you can work out this Olympics optical illusion in less than 52 seconds:

There are 144 flags on the illusion, representing all the countries in the Olympics, but one of them is hiding the famous Olympic torch. Can you spot it in 52 seconds or under?

Spoiler alert: Stop scrolling now unless you want the answer revealed!

If your 52 seconds have passed and you’re still struggling and your eyes are hurting from staring at flags for way too long, a clue is that it is in the right bottom side of the picture. Found it yet?

The fake flag with the Olympic torch is at the bottom right of the picture, fourth from the bottom and fourth from the right. Well it’s easy once you know it isn’t it!

So if you got the torch straight away and this one was a bit too easy for you, have a look if you can spot the hidden lightbulb in this image or if you can see the woman in this slightly creepy optical illusion.
