This is where you’ve seen the cast of Netflix’s new rom com Love At First Sight before

I will watch literally anything with Hayley Lu Richardson in

Love At First Sight is the latest romantic comedy feature length film to drop on Netflix, with an all star cast including lots of British actors. The movie follows the two main characters Hadley and Oliver who fall in love on a flight from New York to London. Upon going through customs the pair loose each other and, having not exchanged details, they fear they’ll never see each other again. But because it is a film, they do, of course, end up finding their way back to each other with the help of “destiny”.

The cast is also full of other famous faces that you will definitely recognise, so here are all the movies and TV shows you recognise the cast of Netflix’s Love At First Sight from.

Hayley Lu Richardson – Hadley

In the past year Hayley Lu Richardson has established herself in the acting scene recently and built up quite a fan base. Hayley is most recognisable from her recent supporting role in the second season of the acclaimed White Lotus for which she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. The final episode also seemed to set up a possibility that her character, Portia, could also return for season three but this is yet to be confirmed.

Hayley has been acting since she was on 17 and originally got her start with a small role on Disney’s Shake It Up. Since then she also has appeared in the psychological thriller Split, acted opposite Cole Sprouse in the romantic drama Five Feet Apart and most recently starred in the music video for the Jonas Brothers’ 2023 single Wings.

Ben Hardy – Oliver

British actor Ben Hardy plays the leading male role of Oliver in the Love At First Sight cast on Netflix. Ben, who is originally from Bournemouth, is definitely most recognisable for playing Peter Beale in 189 episodes of Eastenders between 2013-2015 for which he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Inside Soap Awards and for Best Soap Actor at the TV Choice Awards. Ben then made his to Hollywood, appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse before starring as Roger Taylor in the blockbuster hit Bohemian Rhapsody.

Jameela Jamil – Narrator

Jameela Jamil needs no introduction having been on our screen since 2009 after getting her start as a presenter on T4. After leaving in 2012, Jameela kept up with her love of presenting and became the radio host of The Official Chart, and co-hosted The Official Chart Update alongside Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. However, she 37-year-old returned to our screens in 2016, starring as Tahani in The Good Place on Netflix.

Rob Delaney – Andrew

Despite being American, Rob Delaney has become something of a British icon after moving to London and starring in many English TV shows. Both an actor and comedian, Rob is arguably most recognised from Channel 4’s Catastrophe which he co-created, co-wrote, produced and starred in alongside Irish actor and comedian Sharon Horgan. You might also recognise Rob from Deadpool 2, Black Mirror and Rocketman. Since his move to the UK in 2014, Rob has made frequent appearances on comedy panel shows including Delaney has appeared on several British panel shows, including Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and Room 101.

Sally Phillips – Tessa

Sally Phillips arguably has one of the most recognisable faces and has been in two of the most quintessential British shows ever: Bridget Jones and Miranda. She’s also been in loads of other stuff over the years including Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders, Friday Night Dinner, Smack the Pony and I’m Alan Partridge. This is Sally’s Netflix debut where she will play Tessa, Oliver’s mum in Love At First Sight.

Dexter Fletcher – Val

Having been acting for just under 50 years, it’s more a question of where don’t you recognise Dexter Fletcher from. In 1976 Dexter made his acting debut as Babyface in Bugsy Malone at the tender age of 10 years old. Just a few of his most popular works include Band of Brothers, Hotel Babylon, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He has dabbled in work behind the camera, directing both the feature length biopics Rocketman and Eddie the Eagle.
