Eurovision most streamed songs 2023

From Loreen to Måneskin: The 10 most streamed Eurovision songs of all time in 2023

TikTok has changed everything this year

Another year of Eurovision wrapped up, and since we last wrote up the most streamed songs on Spotify a lot’s changed. Not only have we had a fresh new batch from 2023 shaking it all up, but tunes have gone viral on TikTok and made everything switch orders again. It’s only right to give the most streamed their flowers in a brand new way: Here are the most streamed Eurovision songs of all time for 2023.

All stream stats using Spotify accurate at time of publication.

10. Think About Things by Daði Freyr

The 2020 Iceland Eurovision winner that never was, the viral TikTok bop is one of the most beloved modern songs from the streaming era of the contest. Of all the most streamed Eurovision songs ranked for 2023, it’s gone from 7th last year to 10th this year but has still racked up a hefty 130,783,238 plays.

9. Brividi by Mahmood and Blanco

Mahmood storms in with his the lowest of his two entries here with 2022’s Brividi, featuring Blanco. He’s a streaming giant and Eurovision legend for Italy, and this tune is almost as good as his first. It currently sits at 131,317,378 streams.

8. Heroes by Måns Zelmerlöw

The last time Sweden won before Loreen took it again for them this year, Måns’ Heroes has been a mainstay in the ranking for years. It’s dropped two places since last year going from 6th to 8th, but now has an impressive 148,498,096 streams on Spotify.

7. Soldi by Mahmood

Currently neck and neck, nail-bitingly close with sixth place, Mahmood’s 2019 second place Eurovision masterpiece has 219,169,044 streams. My second fave Eurovision song of all time sung by the sexiest man alive. Impossible to listen to without doing the little claps.

6. Euphoria by Loreen

Another Swedish winner in the top 10 most streamed Eurovision songs for 2023, current second time champion Loreen currently has 219,951,344 streams when you add together the album version and the single edit’s streaming total together. Honestly, this should be number one. Expect Tattoo in the mix by next year I fear.

5. Waterloo by ABBA

The most famous song on this list from the most famous group to ever set foot in the contest, it truly is an impressive feat that one of the oldest songs from way before the streaming age is sitting comfortably in the top five with 244,221,025 streams. Pop never dies.

4. Fairytale by Alexander Rybak

This is absolute hell to me. Have no clue how it’s at number four, but these are the facts unfortunately. 272,723,112 streams. The mind boggles.

3. Zitti E Buoni by Måneskin

One of the coolest songs to ever hit Eurovision, and deserves its bronze medal as the third most streamed songs for 2023. It made them a global sensation, as it should. It boasts 392,515,214 streams. Wow.

2. SNAP by Rosa Linn

Thanks to the, on this occasion unfortunate, power of TikTok, a sneak attack from Snap by Rosa Linn has made this song go viral and therefore blast from non existent last year into the second most streamed ever. And it’s absolutely awful. The “One, two, where are you” chorus is from hell itself. It only finished with 61 points in 20th place in Turin, but now has 641,111,256 streams on Spotify.

1. Arcade by Duncan Laurence

I hated this song in 2019, and still would have loved a Soldi Mahmood win, but Duncan and Arcade have grown on me a lot. It’s a gorgeous ballad, and sits atop the ranking with 949,711,481 streams. When you add the FLETCHER remix, it has way over a billion streams. It will be the first Eurovision song ever to go over 1 billion streams by this time next year – which is wild. Shout out to Duncan for making me cry with You’ll Never Walk Alone in the grand final.

If you’re interested to know the most streamed from 2023 entries, winner Tattoo by Loreen currently has 73,134,750. Second most streamed is Alessandra with Queen of Kings, sitting at 54m streams. Italy’s Due Vite has 53 mil and Käärijä is sneaking up on them with 36 mil.
