Ranking the Brits who attended the Met Gala by how hard their outfits slayed
Michaela Coel ate and left no crumbs
Everyone knows the best part of the Met Gala is judging celebrities’ haute couture while sat on your sofa in pyjamas you bought from Primark in 2011. And this year, plenty of Brits showed up to the (some may argue overly pretentious) fundraising benefit at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. No Harry Styles, though. Sob.
Still, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Daisy Edgar Jones— loads of our national treasures showed up and showed out. So, here’s a definitive ranking of the Brits who attended the 2023 Met Gala, based on how hard their outfits slayed:
Best dressed Brits at the Met Gala 2023, ranked
16. Florence Pugh
I hate this hat, I’m sorry. It’s like a perpendicular dart board.
15. James McAvoy
It’s giving slutty grandad, which makes me feel intensely confused.
14. Cara Delevingne
There had to have been a better layering option than leather leg warmers.
13. Jonathan Bailey
A little bit Burton. Hate the shades in the night time.
12. Emily Blunt
50 per cent slay. But her Devil Wears Prada character would have done better.
11. Suki Waterhouse
