Oh no! Danielle from season two of Love Is Blind ‘files for divorce’ from Nick Thompson

Danielle Ruhl, from season two of Love Is Blind on Netflix, has filed for divorce from her husband Nick Thompson, according to reports. The pair got married on the dating experiment show, and have been married for just over a year.

Documents obtained by TMZ are reported to say Love Is Blind star Danielle filed for a divorce from Nick on Monday in Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. Just last month, the pair had discussed in interviews wanting to start a family and redo their big day, including Danielle saying she wanted to do a full bachelorette party, as she felt she missed out on a real one during the show.

The show aired six months ago, and saw them agree to get married after dating in the pods, and never meeting one another. On the show it was clear they had huge differences, but they put everything aside to make things work. It looked as though Nick was struggling to say “I do” – he sweated A LOT – but they were one of the two couples who got married during this season of the show.

The news of their split comes a week after the other couple who married, Iyanna and Jarrette, have also said they are getting a divorce. In the post announcing their split, Jarrette and Iyanna thanked their families and Love Is Blind, and said they are heading in different directions.

Neither Nick or Danielle have commented on the reports.
