Here are all the business plans of The Apprentice 2022 candidates

Each year, a bunch of business hopefuls sit in front of Lord Sugar and try to prove they are worthy of a £250k investment for their plans. The Apprentice 2022 has seen a whole range of business plans and ideas, one of which will end up winning the money and the chance to work with Lord Sugar himself.

But what are all the big ideas, hopes and dreams of this year’s lineup? From security businesses to beauty ranges and flavoured water to sustainability – here are all the details of the business plans The Apprentice 2022 candidates each have.

Harpreet Kaur

Harpreet is one of our final four, and still in with a chance of having Lord Sugar’s investment. She wants to expand her successful coffee and cakes business with the help of Lord Sugar. She has already impressively grown her coffee and cake company, Barni’s Desserts, to six figures and hopes Lord Sugar’s investment can help her make her business into a leading UK brand.

Kathryn Louise Burn

Up next and still in with a chance is Kathryn. Kathryn is the owner of an online pyjama company, based in Swindon. She is confident that her pyjama range will one day be “worn by everyone”. She’s the owner of My Christmas Pyjamas and My Everyday Pyjamas which, according to her Instagram, is launching next month.

Brittany Carter

Also in the final four is Brittany Carter. Brittany currently works as a front of house manager in a hotel, but her business idea is completely different. She’s looking for Lord Sugar’s investment in her brand of the first ever alcoholic protein drink. Her company is called Maintain The Gain, and she’s on TikTok talking all about it.

Stephanie Affleck

Stephanie in the final of the candidates still standing. She is based in Kent, where she runs and owns an online children’s store and is looking for investment to expand this. She is the director of Little Fashion House, a company specialising in selling pre-loved, designer children’s clothes.

Akshay Thakrar

Akshay is the owner of a digital marketing agency. Since he started on the show, it has been revealed he was the director of five failed companies before he got on to The Apprentice. Speaking about the companies, he said: “These companies were simply registered when I was younger. My company, Triple AMT Group Ltd, has now been trading for four years and continues to grow year on year with total current asset value worth six figures in the previous account record.”

Francesca Kennedy Wallbank

Francesca is the owner of a sustainability company. Her business plan is to provide a carbon footprint service for businesses. She’s the founder of thecarbonfootprintco, which helps businesses reach their carbon sustainability aims.

Akeem Bundu-Kamara

Akeem is a strategy manager for a financial firm. Right now, he owns and runs an online sportswear company, which is worth just £28. He’s the director of and owner of online sportswear brand Lockr Space, which he was hoping Lord Sugar would invest in, and one day it will be worth more than 30 quid.

Sophie Wilding

Sophie has big renovation plans for her boutique cocktail bar. She runs cocktail bar Imperial Haus, which offers “magical” and “enchanting” cocktails in Cheltenham.

Aaron Willis

Aaron is a flight operations instructor from Chorley. He owns a security company, which is the basis of his business plan. He owns Vulcan Security, which has its head office in Wigan. Speaking to Lancashire Post, he set up his security company last year, and it began as small patrols in the local area to make people feel safe at night, but expanded very quickly. “From being just a little idea of patrolling homes, I’m now doing event security and looking to do construction, retail, any aspects of security really, so that’s what brought me into the process,” he said.

Alex Short

Alex Short was very, very quiet on The Apprentice 2022. He’s the owner of a commercial cleaning company, which he wanted to expand with Lord Sugar’s money. He says he is “driven, focused and is not going to stop until he gets what he wants”. He founded STAG Commercial Cleaning Services in 2016 which specialises in post-construction cleaning services tailored specifically to the construction industry.

Nick Showering

London based hopeful Nick was looking to get an investment to help his flavoured water business idea become a leader in the drinks industry.

Harry Mahmood

Harry was fired in week one, so won’t be getting investment. But, his idea was within the bath bomb business, with him saying he hoped him and Lord Sugar could become “the bad boys of the bath bomb world.” His business is called Magnatielo, and focuses on fun bath bombs for children. A shame.

Conor Gilsenan

Conor won’t be seeing any investment from Lord Sugar, as he was fired in week two. His business idea was based around quirky food and drink stalls hireable for events.

Navid Sole

Ahead of being fired, Navid was looking for investment in his pharmacy business idea. The London-based pharmacist had hoped for a £250k investment from Lord Sugar to expand his pharmacy empire, after he graduated with a Master’s in pharmacy in 2017.

Shama Amin

Shama had to pull out of the competition for health reasons, so she is another of The Apprentice 2022 candidates who won’t see their business plans become a reality. But, her idea was all about expanding her current business – the Little Academy Day Nursery in Bradford. Speaking on spin-off show, You’re Fired, she said: “I have a children’s day nursery and what I wanted to do was expand the business, open more nurseries and eventually go nationwide so I have a chain of nurseries.”
