It’s official: The date of the Love Island 2021 final has now been confirmed

Our long, hot summer is nearly over 😭

The date for the Love Island 2021 series final has been confirmed – and we’ve only got a few days left of all the drama our long, hot Love Island summer can bring us.

The current series was been extended and will run for nine weeks in total. It’s ending on Monday, August 23rd – literally NEXT WEEK, so we only have days left of the show. Brb, crying x

The last series of Love Island, the winter version at the start of 2020, only ran for six weeks.

However the summer series’ of Love Island are usually slightly longer than this, and it’s believed this year’s series has been extended as last summer’s was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Love Island confirmed the 2021 final date in a tweet, advertising a competition to win tickets to a final screening party on August 23rd.

This series we’ve had Chloe and Toby drama, Faye shouting at everyone a lot, and of course a very iconic Casa Amor week that culminated in THAT chat between Millie and Lillie. And who could forget the movie night episode?

It seems like Love Island is already getting rid of Islanders before the final, which usually has four couples. This week we’ve already said goodbye to Brett and Priya, and Mary and Aaron.

There are now only five couples left in the villa – Faye and Teddy, Chloe and Toby, Kaz and Tyler, Liberty and Jake, and Millie and Liam.
