The essential starter packs of every single degree, of course
They didn’t tell you this on the open day
"Go to uni" they said, "find yourself", they said. Yet no matter how unique we'd like to think we are, it's human nature to want to fit in to our immediate surroundings. It's undeniable that every university degree has stereotypes too true to ignore.
There's a certain type of person that studies English Lit at university. They'll wear fuckboy glasses and try really hard to look like they're not trying at all. They'll pretentiously discuss the prophecy of 1984, smoking a cig they rolled in the last few minutes of their seminar.
Then you've got the Physics student who spends the entirety of their university career on Reddit. They'll wear a Superdry hoodie their mum bought them six years ago because they won't have time to shop outside of their 40 contact hours.
And let's face it, PPE students are in it for one thing – A Goldman Sachs grad scheme that pays £50k a year.
A starter pack is worth a thousand words, so here's a comprehensive guide for you and your course mates, on how to fit in. Because if we don't tell you, who will?
