Wait, are Tom Holland and Zendaya married or not? Here are Law Roach’s confusing statements

The stylist seemingly contradicted himself again at the Emmys

Tom Holland and Zendaya’s marital status is up for discussion again, after their stylist Law Roach gave a very confusing interview at the Emmys. Here’s a deep dive into all the contradictory things Law Roach has said about whether Tom Holland and Zendaya are married. I need to get to the bottom of this.

Law Roach kicked off the rumours that Tom Holland and Zendaya secretly got married

Back on 1st March at the 2026 actor awards, Law Roach seemingly broke the news that Tom Holland and Zendaya had already had their wedding, but kept it hush-hush.

Access Hollywood asked him: “I know you can’t tease much because you’re involved, but we are living for Zendaya’s wedding looks, is there anything you can tease for us?”

He responded: “The wedding’s already happened. You missed it.”

The reporter added: “Is that true?”

“It’s very true. Thank you so much.” He laughed and walked on, as the reporter fired off more questions.

He appeared to confirm this on TV

Two fake, AI-generated “photos” of their wedding went viral, and reached more than 10 million likes on Instagram. Law Roach was questioned about this on Good Morning America on 29th June.

The host Lara Spencer asked: “When you saw those images that were AI-generated, people would assume it’s you, and there’s Zendaya wearing a dress, and there’s Tom, and they’re not real. What was your reaction?”

“That that dress was not good enough,” he said.

He added: “Trust me, the dress was better than that.”

When asked if the final creation looked like the fake AI images, he said, “Absolutely not.”

Er, but he said something very different at the Emmys

At the Emmys ceremony on 14th September, Law Roach was asked: “When you revealed that she was married on the red carpet, was that co-ordinated, or did you just do it all out of the blue?”

He responded: “Well… actually… I… she wasn’t married. She hasn’t… they actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s going to happen after the Dune press tour.”

The reporter asked if he was “messing with” people, but Law reiterated: “”No, the wedding hasn’t happened.”

The presenter did point out that Tom has referred to Zendaya as his “wife” in interviews.

“I mean, she’s been his wife for a really long time now,” Law replied,  “but it’s not official yet.”

Amidst laughter, he echoed that he “lied before”, and “could” be lying again.

Law Roach also clarified that the viral “photos” were fake, “that dress was ugly”, and he would be dressing Zendaya for her wedding.

What other evidence is there?

Now, Tom Holland and Zendaya have yet to actually flat-out say if they are married or not. The closest we’ve got to a statement from Tom Holland is an interview with Esquire in June. He told Esquire he had to message his grandmother about the viral AI-generated photos seemingly depicting their wedding, and clarify they were fake. Esquire asked if he had to contact any other relatives.

Tom Holland paused for six seconds, then answered: “No, because they were all there.”

At the time, many Tomdaya fans took this as evidence that the couple had a wedding ceremony with their family. But could he have just meant that Tom first saw the fake images when he was with his family, or other family members were there when he spoke to his granny?

People also reported that Tom and Zendaya had a second, larger wedding event at Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey on 4th August.

At this point, I think we need to see the marriage certificate, guys x
