Um, Drake really rented an entire castle for a date with the woman who made him bark on YouTube

Drake has apparently taken the phrase “go big or go home” to an absolutely ridiculous level after reportedly renting out an entire castle for a date with the internet’s resident “goth baddie”, Pinkchyu.

The rapper recently appeared on a YouTube dating challenge called 20 v 1, where he was presented with 20 women and eventually narrowed his options down to three: Jordyn Lucas, Lena the Plug and Pinkchyu.

Pinkchyu quickly became one of the standout contestants, particularly after asking Drake whether he’d buy a house for her mum. It seems he wasn’t joking about going all out.

According to TMZ, Drake reportedly rented out Toronto’s Casa Loma for a private date with Pinkchyu. Yes, an actual castle

The enormous venue has 98 rooms and covers almost 200,000 square feet, so it’s safe to say there was plenty of space for their date night.

The report claims the entire castle was closed to the public for the occasion, with only a server, bartender and security staff remaining while Drake and Pinkchyu sat down for sushi.

Honestly, forget a five-star restaurant. Apparently Drake’s idea of a first date is just buying the whole building.

The date comes after Pinkchyu and Drake’s bizarre interaction on the show went viral, with the influencer later joking about their encounter on Instagram.

It seems like Drake knows Pinkychu likes castles, as she posted a video to her Instagram captioned: “All I ever wanted was someone to see beautiful things with.”

She also reflected on how surreal the whole situation was in another post, writing: “I can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past few years. Posting content with alternative music I wasn’t sure anyone else would enjoy, to seeing a generation celebrating goth culture.”

Pinkchyu previously spoke to TMZ about Drake’s promise to buy her mum a house, revealing that he was apparently serious about it. She said he told her to pick “any listing” she liked and send it over to him.

When she was asked whether she planned to see Drake again, Pinkchyu kept things deliberately vague. She did, however, reveal that the pair had some “good conversations” after filming the dating show.

Surprisingly, this isn’t even Drake’s first experience of renting out an entire landmark for a date. The rapper previously reportedly rented out Dodger Stadium for a private dinner with Johanna Leia back in 2021.

While the castle date might be completely unhinged to the rest of us, for Drake it’s apparently just another Tuesday.
