Body language expert breaks down awkward interaction between Kylie Jenner and Joey King

The concept of Joey King from Kissing Booth fame and Kylie Jenner sitting next to each other at a fashion show is almost too much for the imagination, but somehow it became a reality at the Miu Miu show.

In the viral clip, Kylie Jenner is looking incredibly uncomfortable at the concept of being seated next to Joey King, and whilst Joey looks like she’s having the time of her life, Kylie is looking dramatically less enthused.

Body language expert Inbaal Honigman has broken down the interaction between the pair, as well as revealing that Kylie felt “lonely” during the show.

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Inbaal revealed: “Kylie sits in the Miu Miu front row, with all her defenses up. Her legs are crossed and her fingers are clasped together, which means her arms are in front of her body.

“This is a protective stance, designed to keep her safe in an uncertain situation. Not only is she protecting her body, but she’s also got her big sunglasses on, indoors, which is another layer of defence.

“Joey King’s shuffling and goofing don’t throw the young Jenner off her pose, and she sits still, undistracted.”

She continued: “Kylie is here to work, not to mess around, says the stillness of her pose. When she receives a wave from across the aisle, however, she can’t ignore it, and so she slowly, reluctantly, removes her sunglasses to indicate a connection, and friendliness.

“Her smile, however, is muted. Kylie’s lips are turned downwards and her eyes don’t quite light up, as she gazes downwards.”

She added: “This isn’t a happy smile, and she’s only flashing her teeth to be polite. This dampened smile, along with the way she flexes her feet uneasily, suggest that Kylie feels a little lonely at the show.

“And as soon as this interaction is over, the shades are back over her face.”
