‘Absolutely disgusting’: Leigh is fully fighting with a ‘racist’ MAFS critic on Instagram

Married at First Sight bride Leigh is not one to mince her words, and after a viewer posted a “racist” comment about Nelly, she unleashed holy hell on the critic.

Leigh’s fighting spirit has been shown a few times throughout MAFS season 10, though most of the time it was directed at her wife, Leah. She dragged her wife for “disrespectful” flirting with other brides, and got beefy on her wedding day, but now it seems she is using her powers for good.

Beneath a photo dump of the cast, which showed Leigh with her head on Steven’s shoulder, someone wrote in the comments: “Nelly the indiphant [indian elephant] clapped her hands and said goodbye to the circus….Off she went with a trumpety trump trump trump trump.”

Illustrating some true queen behaviour, Leigh called out the comment on her Instagram story: “I’d just like to make one thing VERY clear. Do not EVERRRR think it is ok to come on any of my social media with this shit. It’s one thing to troll and hate someone online (which is weird in itself) but to do so and be racist will not run with me. And yes, I will absolutely put you on blast and I hope you’re embarrassed @XXXX absolutely disgusting behaviour.”

But it didn’t stop there. Leigh soon posted the woman’s Instagram account on her story, zeroing in on her bio about “improving yourself.”

“I don’t quite think you’ve improved yourself enough Hayley mate. Do better,” she said.

Having seen this, the woman then slid into the MAFS bride’s DMs, arguing that it “wasn’t racist at all” and Leigh should “change the narrative.”

Clapping back, Leigh responded: “Excuse me? It’s insulting that I’m having to educate a grown woman on racism in 2025. But first, I’d like you to explain to me how you think replacing the word ‘elephant’ with ‘indiphant’ is not racist?”

When the woman said “OMGGG ok”, Leigh was still having none of it as she called it “insulting and disgusting behaviour” that she should be “ashamed” of.

In one final blow, she added: “I’ve already had multiple messages from people saying they’ve seen this woman trolling others. I’m also now blocked so if you can access her account and report it I’d appreciate it.”
