Julia-Ruth finally admits she ‘lost sight’ of her intentions after claims she’s on MAFS for fame
It feels like a confession
Well, it looks like MAFS UK 2025 bride Julia-Ruth is doing a bit of reflection after that chaotic dinner party, and it feels like she is confessing to losing sight of her intentions in the experiment.
Last night, Julia-Ruth and her husband Divarni turned up at the dinner party hand in hand, which shocked everyone. Most of the cast thought they’d split after Julia-Ruth repeatedly said she wasn’t attracted to him.
Things only got messier when everyone accused Julia-Ruth of leading Divarni on, lying about their intimacy, and being more interested in screen time than a real relationship. The whole situation left the group visibly frustrated, and Keye branded her a “15 minutes of fame” contestant rather than someone looking for love.

Now, Julia-Ruth has broken her silence with a lengthy statement on her Instagram, admitting she “lost sight” of herself during the experiment.
“I came into this experiment hoping for the best, a lifetime partner,” she wrote. “I think I lost myself in this process, over and over. And I hurt a lot of good people who loved me and to this day am still making amends with those I’ve wronged.”
Julia-Ruth also made it clear that the producers knew she had been on TV before, writing, “They wouldn’t have me on MAFS if they didn’t believe where my heart was at and my intentions.”
But in the same breath, she kind of confessed that she lost focus along the way, saying, “I myself lost sight of that and who I am on my time in this experiment.”

The bride went on to reflect on her behaviour at the dinner party. She explained she’d been “emotionally drained, sleep deprived,” and had “alcohol involved,” which she said made her “not the best version” of herself. “I take full accountability for my absolute freak out,” she wrote. “ And will learn to just pipe down, walk away and do better in future. There’s still a lot few more flops to go (fml &) but felt it necessary to speak up now,” she added.
Julia-Ruth ended her message by saying she’s “grateful for the mended friendship” with her cast mates. She also said that watching everything back six months later has been “eye-opening.”
