Dean speaks out after MAFS UK exit and makes surprising comment about Sarah we didn’t see
We clearly didn’t get the full story of their marriage
In the most shocking MAFS UK 2025 commitment ceremony yet, Sarah and Dean were forced to quit the experiment by the experts, and he’s now spoken out about his exit.
The pair both wrote “stay” on their cards initially, prepared to give it one final shot. However, the experts brutally told them to stop wasting each other’s time, because they both knew how they really felt.
Now, Dean has reflected on his full MAFS experience on Instagram, and he made a very surprising comment about Sarah in the post.
Addressing his exit, he said: “Don’t cry because it’s over smile because it happened. That was definitely an emotional watch, and I think doing this show is probably the best thing I could have ever done for myself.”

“I have learned so much watching this back and I hope Dean there would be proud of where I am now, doing him proud and doing so with a smile on my face. I would like to thank everyone involved in the show and outside of the show for their kindness and support throughout.”
Then came the surprising comment: “Sarah was really a rock for me in there and helped me learn so much about myself.” Um, what? The show made it out like the pair didn’t see eye to eye at all, but they were clearly a lot closer than what we saw.
All we really saw them do during their MAFS journey is clash. From Sarah hating Dean’s jokes and singing to her flirting with a crew member, it was all doom and gloom for the couple as far as we knew.

However, it seems like they actually got on a lot better as friends that the edit made out, and Dean is very thankful for the experience with her. We definitely didn’t get the full story of their marriage.
“That happy ever after is still coming and I am so blooming excited! This isn’t an end, it’s just a new beginning,” Dean concluded.
