Even before he left, Dean was showing this one major red flag on MAFS UK 2025

People had started to turn on him

Just before his departure from MAFS UK 2025 alongside bride Sarah, people had started to clock a major red flag in Dean. People are probably now quite glad the doomed couple finally accepted things were never going to work out.

From day one things between Sarah and Dean didn’t look great. On their wedding day, Sarah straight up said she didn’t fancy Dean, and got the ick when he started rapping and singing all the time. Whilst on honeymoon, she was asked by a producer what Dean could do to improve, and Sarah brutally replied: “Get some tattoos and lose some weight.”

Sarah was rightly called out for being rude about Dean, as well as talking about him behind his back at dinner parties. She constantly blamed “the spark” as why things weren’t progressing. Finally, the experts told them they both deserved more. Dean deserved someone obsessed with him, and Sarah someone who she fancied. Despite both writing “stay” they agreed it was their time to leave.

But, just before that, people noticed a pattern in Dean during the MAFS UK 2025 experiment that was a major red flag. Whilst all of this was going on, he remained super positive, even though when push came to shove, he knew there was nothing to be positive about. He was pushing for Sarah to keep trying, and said something could grow, when he knew it wasn’t working.

“Dean from MAFS is not a nice guy,” one person on TikTok said. “Friend zone is not a real thing, and if you’re just staying around hoping that someone who doesn’t want to sleep with you is finally gonna let their guard down… that doesn’t make you a nice person. I can’t believe I have to come on here and say it. That is toxic positivity.”

They added: “It’s not a good thing to not talk about your negative feelings and say ‘it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine’ all the time, because those negative feelings are still there. However, for some reason, nobody is giving him a hard time. He’s getting a lot of positive, ‘oh never change Dean’, but he should change.”

A lot of the comments agreed, and said a “nice guy” persona is sometimes an “act” and a “red flag”. However, others still defended Dean. One said: “So he’s bad for participating in the show? If his wife has no interest or intentions to grow their relationship, should she not say so and walk away?”.

Well, they both have now.
