Brutal reason family is fined after spending an outrageous £52k on trip to Disney World

A family in the UK has been fined in court after spending an enormous £52,000 on a holiday to Walt Disney World in Florida.

Parents Noel and Sue Radford are famous for having the biggest family in the UK, and splurged on the pricey trip to celebrate her birthday in April 2025.

They took 21 of their 22 children on the holiday, as well as their 11 grandchildren, spending a whopping £26,000 just on flights, and even more on Disney park passes, food and accommodation.

Nine of their kids are still at school, and the parents, aged 54 and 50, were taken to court where they were fined for taking them out of school during term time.

The parents, from Morecambe in Lancashire, were found guilty of failing to ensure regular attendance at school for the kids between 24th March and 1st May at Preston Magistrates Court.

They were fined £65 for each child, plus £118 court costs, bringing the total amount they had to pay to £703.

Pictures from the trip show the huge family posing with Donald Duck, watching the parade and swimming in their luxury villa.

The Radfords previously told The Mirror they were “feeling the pinch” financially, but splashed out on the no expenses spared holiday nonetheless.

Sue and Noel have their own Channel 5 TV show 22 Kids and Counting and make money from their pie business Radford’s Pie Company.

They went back to Florida once again just four months later, sharing snaps on Instagram of themselves lapping up the Florida sun in August.

The children are all aged between five and 36.

They have Chris, 36, Sophie, 31, Chloe, 30, Jack, 28, Daniel, 26, Luke, 25, Millie, 24, Katie, 22, James, 21, Ellie, 20, Aimee, 19, Josh, 19, Max, 16, Tillie, 15, Oscar, 13, Casper, 13, Hallie, 10, Phoebe, nine, Archie, eight, Bonnie, six, and Heidi, five.
