George has spoken out for the first time after getting removed from Big Brother
‘Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me’
Yesterday, George Gilbert was removed from the Big Brother UK 2025 house for a reason we shall never see aired. It came after the housemate got several warnings for his use of inappropriate and offensive language, some of which we saw on the show including one where he got a formal warning. Whilst that formal warning was about a homophobic comment George had previously made towards Sam in the house, this one was regarding something Big Brother won’t actually air because it breached broadcast conduct. Yikes. Now George has spoken out regarding him getting removed from Big Brother for the first time.
He doesn’t seem happy
In quotes published in The Sun, George has spoken out with a statement after getting removed from Big Brother. “As a flag bearer of freedom of speech I never hesitate to discuss and question any topic regardless of how contentious it may be,” he said. “Sadly, the boundaries of what is deemed offensive are subjective and I evidently went too far this time by crossing their line one too many times.
“It is a shame that specific debate could not be had and that it has had to end like this. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me.”

The fallout of George leaving Big Brother will presumably be seen in tonight’s episode, albeit not the actual offending comments. The Sun is alleging the removal was due to anti-semitic comments.
ITV’s statement on why George was removed from the Big Brother house
In a statement yesterday, ITV said: “George will appear in tonight’s episode of Big Brother but his comments will not be aired as they are contrary to broadcast standards.’

“George was previously given several warnings for unacceptable language. Most were not broadcast as the language used was contrary to broadcast standards, but one was seen during Monday’s episode of Big Brother. Before entering the Big Brother House, the rules regarding language and behaviour are explained to all Housemates and they receive training in respect, dignity and inclusion. Friday’s eviction will continue as planned – details of which will be explained during tonight’s episode of Big Brother: Late & Live.”
What we did see last night however was George moan about a same sex couple being in the Disney Buzz Lightyear film. He tried to claim that the fact they shared a kiss (a peck) was sexualising a children’s film and said a same sex kiss is “pornographic.” Good riddance.
