Jenna Ortega’s sister responds to concerns about actress’ health after new interview
She wants everyone to ‘mind their own business’
People have grown concerned about Jenna Ortega’s health following her recent Esquire interview, and the actress’ sister has now responded.
The Wednesday star sat down for a video interview with the publication, and it raised serious conversations around her body image and concern for her wellbeing. It comes after constant scrutiny about Ariana Grande, which has led her to take a break from public life.
A DJ based in New York, Amrita Singh, shared a lengthy post on Instagram which has gone viral, telling people to stop speculating and give Ortega privacy. Jenna’s younger sister Aliya commented on it with three exclamation marks, clearly showing she agrees with what’s written in the post.

“I think everyone should mind their own business and leave @jennaortega alone, especially after her recent interview has created so many questions and assumptions about her health. She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation her life is her life, and her body belongs to her,” the post said.
“She has every right to make whatever decisions she feels are best for herself without being judged, discriminated against, or subjected to unnecessary speculation. We don’t know what she may be going through, and we shouldn’t assume anything based on appearances or a few comments from an interview. Sometimes the most respectful thing we can do is simply give someone privacy, support them, and let them be.
“Please, for God’s sake, she is a human being first, before she is a celebrity in the public eye, and I think that’s what people tend to forget. She deserves privacy, peace, and the freedom to live her life without constantly being questioned or analysed. Stop concerning yourselves with her personal life and asking intrusive, unnecessary, and random questions, just leave Jenna alone and allow her to live her life on her own terms.”
They added that Jenna looks “absolutely beautiful and astonishing” in the interview and “carries herself with so much grace and confidence”.
“Honestly, she looks amazing. So, please keep your smart remarks and unnecessary comments to yourself. Not everything needs to be criticised or picked apart, just let her be and appreciate her for who she is,” the post concluded.
