
Police confirm discovery of body outside University of Oxford building
The incident occurred outside the Gibson Building off Woodstock Road
Police have confirmed that a body was found outside a university building in Oxford city centre last week.
Thames Valley Police responded to a call at the Ratcliffe Observatory Quarter in Oxford on Tuesday 30th September.

Officers reported a “sudden death” had occurred outside the Gibson Building off Woodstock Road.
Police recovered the body of a man in his 40s at the scene, just before 8am.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Sadly, the body of a man in his 40s was found.
“His family have been informed and are being support by specially trained officers.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this extremely difficult time.
“The death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
