The easiest universities in the UK for students to nab an offer from in 2025, revealed
Some arts unis will let just about anyone in
If you’re desperate to go to uni but worried about your odds, then you’re in the right place. Here is a ranking of the absolute easiest universities in the UK to get an offer from in 2025. Lots of these unis reject fewer than one in ten applicants. Really.
The absolute easiest UK university to get an offer from in 2025 is officially Plymouth College of Art. They only turn away 2.3 per cent of people who apply. Crikey, what did the rejects do?
Surprisingly, one Russell Group uni made it onto this list. The University of Exeter hands out offers to a huge 85.1 per cent of people who apply. It’s by far the easiest Russell Group uni to get an offer from. Erm, maybe the admissions team worry all the lacrosse girls will put people off going there?
Now, just because a uni has a very high offer rate, that doesn’t mean it’s totally rubbish. Unis have to weigh up how many offers to give out compared to how many places they have. If a uni is handing out lots of offers, it might be a sign they’re desperate to get freshers. Or, it could be because they know their uni is often a back-up option for brainy students, so they have to account for lots of offers being rejected.
This data all comes from UCAS, and refers to undergrads from the 2024 admissions cycle.
So, here are the 30 easiest UK universities to get an offer from in 2025:

29. University of Lincoln – 84.5 per cent
28. York St John University – 85.0 per cent
