Here’s exactly which Uni of Liverpool halls The Summer I Turned Pretty cast would live in

Wouldn’t Mountford Hall be a great wedding venue for Belly and Jeremiah?

SPOILER ALERT: Taylor has been getting messy at pres in Crown Place all Freshers’ Week. The University of Liverpool may not have frats and sororities, but we’ve got thousands of students still mourning Beyblade Soc, and that’s enough for us.

Melville Grove wouldn’t be the number one choice for a sorority house, but we’re pretty sure The Summer I Turned Pretty characters would fit right in at all of our student accommodations. Could you imagine Belly and Jeremiah meeting on a pub crawl in McCooley’s and picking up some cheesy chips on the way back to Philharmonic Court? No, me neither, but it’s a funny visual either way.

Here are the Uni of Liverpool student accommodations we’d assign to each member of The Summer I Turned Pretty cast – this list is obviously 100 per cent accurate and based on real scientific research. Definitely not just vibes. We promise.

Conrad: Greenbank Village

I might be biased in giving my favourite character the same halls I spent my first year in, but it can never be proven. Anyway, doesn’t everyone think Conrad deserves the luxury and quiet of Greenbank Village? After all, Conrad moved to California for university to escape his Boston family, which is almost the same distance between Greenbank and Central Teaching Hub, according to Google Maps. He could go on his daily runs in Sefton Park, and touch some grass after interacting with Belly and Jeremiah. Sending love and prayers to everyone who comes across him in the gym.

Belly: Tudor Close

Tudor Close houses the University of Liverpool’s study abroad students, whether they’re spending a semester or whole year here. I’m hoping that if Belly was around other students going travelling, she wouldn’t cancel her semester abroad in Paris – anything to get her away from Jeremiah to be honest.

Jeremiah: Philharmonic Court

It would only make sense for Jeremiah to stay at Philharmonic Court, as the most expensive accommodation the university offers. We all saw him order the priciest item on the menu when Laurel was paying! Note how Conrad ordered the cheapest dish by the way. Very mindful, very demure. The financially irresponsible younger brother would have no qualms when making his dad pay for yet another semester of university in the boujee accommodation. Hopefully he’d find some flatmates there to appreciate his dark chocolate raspberry coulis mirror glaze cake.

Steven: Melville Grove

Unlike Jeremiah, Steven wouldn’t want to be a financial burden to his parents, so would pick the sensible Melville Grove. His graduating a year early might be partially motivated by wanting to escape the halls that are quite frankly, nobody’s first choice. As a bonus, he’d be near both Denise and Taylor, making Melville a convenient place to stay while he’s running between the two of them.

Taylor: Crown Place

I can think of no other character who would more appreciate staying in the party central of campus! Her flat would probably become infamous for hosting the messiest pres. Maybe her party lifestyle can convince Belly to go clubbing instead of marrying Jeremiah – I’m sure one night at BaaBar would help her move on.

Denise: Vine Court

I can easily see Denise loving the autumnal vibes of Vine Court, and secretly appreciating how close Steven’s accommodation is. Denise would definitely be smart enough to choose a halls of residence located on campus, and would be known as that one person who’s always first in the line for the lecture before the professor has even gotten there. She’d definitely end up on @uolscene’s Instagram page for shouting at finance bros in the library.

Laurel: Dover Court

Hosting the mature students of Liverpool, Dover Court would be Laurel’s choice of accommodation while completing her studies. Maybe she’d take on a Masters Degree in creative writing? I can easily see Laurel fitting into the English department here and becoming a professor, and her close proximity would be great to convince Belly not to get married. Laurel and I can be the founding members of the Conrad Appreciation Society together.

Agnes: Private Accommodation

Private partner provider accommodations aren’t usually mentioned, just like how Agnes doesn’t get as much screen time as she deserves. It’s brutal, but true. Can Conrad fly her over for the wedding for some emotional support please? Despite being largely ignored, both private halls and this character provide us with some pretty iconic moments, and I’m sure Agnes would move into Agnes Jones House just for the laughs.

Cam Cameron: Living at home

Both elusive, mysterious, and haven’t been seen in forever. We love Cam Cameron almost as much as we love our students who commute, and can’t wait to be reunited with both of them!

To anyone who stayed in Philharmonic Court and is fuming they got Jeremiah, all I can do is apologise x
