RuPaul just confirmed a massive RuPaul’s Drag Race secret that fans have gossiped about for years as actually being true, and I can’t believe this is actually happening. If you know about RuPaul, you’ll know that mother does not get into drag for nothing and usually the effort and energy it takes to get the queen of drag looking like the queen of drag is reserved for the most VIP of appearances, or of course an episode of Drag Race. Even when Ru DJs, she does that OUT of drag. So she can dance and get down like only Mama Ru knows how to do, of course. For years though, there have been rumblings about what goes on behind the judging table of Drag Race, and now RuPaul just confirmed a massive secret to actually be true. And the fandom is absolutely shaking.

A podcast reveals all

I don’t think this is even a new interview, but it’s finally surfacing now. RuPaul was on the Uppity Knitter podcast with Siedeh Garrett and gave away big tea about what she actually does when filming Drag Race – which was a bit of an open secret previously.

RuPaul says “This is the Drag Race routine. I get ready, get dressed, we go and take photographs. Then I go and do my runway walk and introduce the show. Then I go back to my dressing room and take off everything below my waist. I put on a pair of pyjamas and slippers and we finish the rest of the show with me behind the podium.”
