Omg! Meg’s Love Island intro video manifested her red flag romance with Dejon, and it’s crazy
Erm, who was going to tell me Meg can see the future?
People on Reddit are losing it after they clocked how Meg Moore’s Love Island intro video literally foreshadowed her red-flag-ridden romance with Dejon Noel-Williams.
After Harry Cooksley took a more wholesome turn, and Harrison Solomon left the show following a statement from Women’s Aid, Dejon very much stepped up as the resident villain of Love Island season 12. His supremacy as a “game-playing” red flag was further strengthened by his clout-chasing family, some of whom went on the show for the meet the family segment. Dejon and Meg just missed out on the top four, being booted from the island after receiving the most votes for the least compatible couple from the ex-islanders.
Though Meg did weather controversies of her own, namely, mean-girl comments with Helena Ford, she could have gone further if only she’d coupled up with someone more popular with people at home. That being said, her intro video suggests the Dejon and Meg pairing was always meant to be.
What did Meg say in her Love Island intro video?
On Reddit earlier this week, someone posted a clip of “Meg manifesting Dejon” alongside the caption: “Rewatching this season already and Meg is literally describing her type as Dejon perfectly. She even goes on to say in ep one that she loves a bad boy and ends up falling for them because she’s a softy. She also makes it clear she wants to leave with a boyfriend.”
She must have recieved a vision from the future, because Meg literally described Dejon while discussing her perfect man.

“My type is a naughty boy. I go for all the red flags. Just the cheekiness of him, the attitude. But it’s the evil eyes. When you look at me a certain way, that’s proboably what’s gonna get me,” she said.
Though I wouldn’t exactly describe Dejon as “naughty”, people on Twitter were constantly talking about his “evil eyes” when the show was on. They claimed his expression could melt ice.
“Welp. She stayed true to herself,” one person responded on Reddit.

Another wrote: “As someone who would follow a kind-eyed man directly into hell, and then wonder why it’s so hot, the thought of specifically looking for a man whose shitty soul is such that it shines through his dead eyes truly baffles me.”
“All I thought about when I started rewatching. Girl, all your dreams are about to come true, unfortunately,” someone else wrote.
Look, love them or hate them, at least Meg was consistent. A lot of girlies go on Love Island with grand dreams about “breaking the cycle” and going for something different, only to get with the same type of man they would have gone for on the outside.
