Orlando Bloom dragged for publicly shading Katy Perry in response to a bizarre Insta post

Orlando Bloom has caused utter pop culture chaos after he responded to a satirical post that lightly mocked him but majorly threw shade at his ex Katy Perry – after she was spotted seemingly on a date with former prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. Orlando Bloom is getting dragged online for the way he has behaved since the apparent split from Katy Perry – which many have deemed to be a bit insensitive. At first, when I saw that he left this comment, I didn’t know if it was fake – but I can verify it still is posted and left on there today. Here’s what happened when Orlando Bloom threw some public shade at Katy Perry and sort of validated the fact that they have indeed split and that things aren’t well between them.

He responded to a satirical post from The Onion 

If you aren’t familiar with The Onion’s game, the satirical news site is famous for its viral parody posts. This one is a corker, and comes as a response to all the goss around Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau – and it’s where Orlando Bloom threw the public shade at his ex wife.

The satirical post was that of an AI generated image of Orlando Bloom across the table from none other than former German chancellor Angela Merkel. The post reads: “Just weeks after announcing his split with fiancée Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was photographed Friday dining with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel. ‘Angela kept Orlando laughing all night—he couldn’t keep his eyes off her!’ said an insider source who spotted the pair sipping wine, slurping oysters, and splitting a decadent piece of chocolate layer cake at a Michelin-starred restaurant.”

It’s obviously all a bit of fun, but no one expected that Orlando Bloom himself would be laughing at it in the comments when he posted a bunch of clapping emojis.

Whilst Katy Perry has not confirmed anything with Justin Trudeau yet, A source told People in an article published on Saturday that the pop star and ex world leader “are interested in each other, but it will take a while to see where this goes. She is traveling around the world, and he is figuring out his life now that he is no longer prime minister of Canada, but there is an attraction. They have a lot in common.”

Chaos.
